The Pyramid Meidum
I find this Pyramid interesting, as it has a large long Causeway. Appears to end at waters edge. Very old photo.
The Meidum Pyramid is thought to have been started by Huni, the last ruler of the 3rd Dynasty, and then completed by his son, Sneferu (Snofru). Sneferu was the first 4th Dynasty pharaoh (2613 - 2494 BC). Apparently, it collapsed while they were in the process converting it from a step pyramid, over into a 51 degree full pyramid shape. This is conjecture...
It appears to be vary large, as Pyramids go, and so I found a plot map of it, and placed it into Sketchup. I thought you may enjoy a comparison to the Giza Pyramids, as shown below. Everything is to scale.
The Meidum Pyramid is believed to have been built at the end of the 3 Dynasty and/or the beginning of the 4th. Prior to the 4th Giza Pyramids. It may have been the first attempt to build a 4 sided pyramid, though failed.

A magnificent causeway. I am researching the Causeway's angle. I expect it to be 4.6 degrees.
I will post it, once I know.
When compared to Kufu's & Khafre's Pyramids
