As a long time follower of Graham Hancock, I was surprised to find an article about the "unfinished pyramid of Zawyet El Aryan" (listed here http://www.disclose.tv/action/viewvideo/233871/the_big_ancient_egyptian_cover_up_this_secret_site_was_carved_75ft_into_solid_rock/, which I had never heard of before. The old photos of the site before access to the site was forbidden by the Egyptian government are fascinating.
It strikes me as another megalithic site that probably pre-dates the "traditional" ancient Egyptians. The size of the massive granite blocks and the huge difficult cut made into the earth definitely make you wonder why they would go to such effort to construct the site this way... Also, why bring the huge 100 ton blocks of rose granite all the way from Aswan? What was it about the rose granite that required that material in that size, when there were closer sources of regular granite available?
The video listed above lists this video as a source for its information, so I recommend you watch that one for more info. That video channel also has a video on another pyramid with some similar characteristics that you may want to look at as well.
Has anyone else heard of this site before? Does Mr. Hancock know about it, and if so, what is his opinion on it?
